The resolution was approved by 428 lawmakers, with no votes against and three abstentions, state news agency PAP reported.
Among those attending the parliamentary session were the US ambassador to Poland, Tom Rose, former US envoy Stephen Mull, former Polish ambassadors to Washington Marek Magierowski and Ryszard Schnepf, and diplomats from the US embassy in Warsaw.
Before the vote, lower-house Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty said the resolution commemorated "an important date for the whole world, for democracy and freedom."
"The courage of the Founding Fathers of the United States and their vision of building a new and just world inspired generations of people around the globe," Czarzasty said.
"On this special occasion, we greet the American nation and express our gratitude for its support for our freedom and democracy," he added.
The resolution states that Polish-American friendship is important to Polish society and enjoys support beyond political divisions.
It also extends wishes of prosperity to the American people on the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the US Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Lawmakers highlighted the historical contributions of Polish military figures Tadeusz Kościuszko and Kazimierz Pułaski to the American Revolutionary War, saying their efforts helped defend US independence.
The resolution also praised the role of the Polish community in America and expressed gratitude for US support for Poland's independence after World War I.
It stressed the importance of contemporary relations between the Polish parliament and the US Congress, describing bilateral ties as fundamental to Poland's security.
"Poland is an important ally of the United States, particularly on NATO's eastern flank," the resolution said, adding that the continued presence of US troops in Poland contributes to regional security.
Following the vote, Rose thanked lawmakers for the gesture in a statement released by the US embassy.
He said the tribute represented more than a diplomatic gesture and reflected the longstanding bond between the two nations.
"We celebrate America 250 with immense gratitude for our Polish friends who have stood beside us with such great loyalty, courage and conviction," Rose said.
He added that the resolution strengthened the United States' resolve "to remain worthy of the trust and friendship" of the Polish people.
