Public broadcasters Polish Radio and Polish Television (TVP) and state news agency PAP signed a letter of intent in the upper house of parliament on Tuesday to carry out the project.
The initiative includes the launch of a special website to provide economic information and practical financial advice to Poles.
Monika Wojciechowska, the finance ministry's representative for the national financial education strategy, said the portal would be financed by the government and developed in partnership with the Warsaw Institute of Banking.
The project is intended to help people address financial problems, make informed financial decisions at different stages of life and access objective advice without hidden advertising or promotion of specific financial products or services.
The agreement says reliable and widely available education should strengthen Poland's social and economic resilience, particularly amid growing financial misinformation and disinformation.
The broader goal is to raise financial, economic and entrepreneurial awareness among Poles.
