Q and A with Linda and Robert Ollis

The parents of US Sergeant Michael H. Ollis, who died rescuing Polish 2nd Lieutenant Karol Cierpica in 2013, received the Honorary Ambassador of Poland Award from KGHM, the Polish copper mining giant, in commemoration of their son's deed.

While on their third visit to this country, Linda and Robert Ollis also visited Kraków, where they met with Lt. Karol Cierpica, who named his baby son Michael in honor of the American sergeant who had sacrificed his life to save that of his brother-in-arms.
