In a social media post, PM Mateusz Morawiecki wrote that the centre will deal with rehabilitation of psychological, psychiatric and neurological side effects among patients, who suffered from COVID -19. Morawiecki wrote that the pandemic has adverse effects on both those who had been infected as well as those who continue to remain in social isolation.
He added that the government has decided that in the near future 10 more such centres will be set up by Interior Ministry Hospitals in Poland.
The center in Złocieniec is the second such post-COVID 19 metal recovery pilot programme launched in Poland. The first was undertaken in September last year by the Interior Ministry Hospital in Głuchołazy, southern Poland. Over 700 patients have already benefited from the five step rehabilitation scheme.
