Polish region chooses to stay 'LGBT-free'

A regional assembly in Poland has voted to stick with its anti-LGBT resolution despite the threat of losing European Union funding.

In 2019, around 100 local authorities in the country declared themselves free of “LGBT ideology” as gay rights gained prominence, deeply dividing the predominantly Catholic nation under a conservative government.
