The three-day event focuses on integration, dialogue and strengthening ties within the global Polish community.
Organised by the Wspólnota Polska Association with support from the Polish Senate, Polonia Camp is aimed at young adults aged 18 to 30 who live outside Poland but identify with Polish heritage and wish to nurture their national identity.
'Poland unites us'
“The heart of the young Polish diaspora today beats in Warsaw,” said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Speaker of the Senate, the upper house of the Polish parliament, at the opening ceremony on Thursday.
"Polonia Camp 2025, the first major meeting of young Poles from around the world, has begun," she added, addressing attendees. "Three days of integration, discussions and strengthening bonds. Poland unites us."
Kidawa-Błońska said the initiative was designed to give young people with Polish roots the opportunity to meet in their ancestral homeland, connect with one another, and consider building their futures in or with Poland.
🇵🇱 OFICJALNA INAUGURACJA POLONIA CAMP 2025. "Even if those dreams don’t come true, we want you to be our best ambassadors around the world. Poland needs all of you," she told the gathering.
She encouraged participants to form lasting friendships, build networks and bring their global experiences to help shape a better Poland.
"Poland is wonderful, but with your contributions, it can be even better," she said.
