The three-day event focuses on integration, dialogue, and strengthening ties within the global Polish community.
Organised by the “Wspólnota Polska” Association with support from the Polish Senate, Polonia Camp invites young people aged 18 to 30 living outside Poland (excluding Russia) who identify with Polish heritage and wish to nurture their national identity.
The heart of young Polonia beats in Warsaw
“The heart of the young Polish diaspora beats today in Warsaw! Polonia Camp 2025 has started, the first big meeting of young Poles from around the world. Three days of integration, discussions, and strengthening bonds! Poland unites us,” declared Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Speaker of the Senate (the upper house of the Polish parliament), at the inauguration of the World Meeting of Young Polonia.
Addressing the attendees, she added: “We have often thought about how to bring Poles from around the world, young people with Polish roots, to Poland - so they can meet, realise their potential, and see how beautiful Poland is.”

I takie było nasze marzenie, żeby tutaj się wszyscy spotkali. In her view, Polonia Camp 2025 offers a unique opportunity for participants to consider building their futures connected to Poland. “And even if those dreams don’t come true, we want you to be our best ambassadors globally. Poland needs all of you,” Kidawa-Błońska said.
“We want to hear your voices, see you make friends here, create networks, and strengthen the ties that bind Poles worldwide. Poland is wonderful, but with your experiences, we can be even better,” she added.
A diverse programme of workshops, panels, and special guests inspires young Polonia
The camp’s programme includes workshops, themed panel discussions, and meetings with special guests from politics, culture, and sports. Among the speakers is Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.
Participants will engage with business leaders including Honorata Hencel of Boeing, charity head Jurek Owsiak, linguist Jerzy Bralczyk, kickboxing champion Iwona Guzowska, and Otylia Jędrzejczak, president of the Polish Swimming Association.
They will also enjoy literary talks with Michał Rusinek, longtime secretary to Nobel laureate Wisława Szymborska, war correspondent Wojciech Jagielski, and columnist Agata Passent.
Culinary workshops will be led by popular chef Kuba Kuroń, while sports activities will be guided by Olympian Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik.
Filip Czernicki, president of the Central Communication Port, will present Poland’s vision for the future of transport, and football referee Szymon Marciniak will deliver a lecture followed by a match with the attendees.
Andżelika Borys, president of the Union of Poles in Belarus, highlighted that young people from Belarus are also participating in the Polonia gathering.
