The probe began in March when police uncovered an illegal lab producing significant quantities of synthetic drugs, detaining three suspects at the time.

Subsequent investigations revealed the full scope of the criminal network, which produced nearly 1.5 tons of the synthetic stimulant klefedrone.

Police also seized ammunition and 170,000 złoty (around €39,878) in cash.

Twenty-two suspects have been remanded in custody for three months, while two others remain under judicial supervision.
