Radosław Sikorski is the most trusted politician, with 41.8% expressing trust, including 18.5% “definitely” trusting him, Onet reported, citing IBRiS.
Distrust in Sikorski stands at 45.5% (26.3% definitely). He returns to No. 1 after two months, though his trust score is 0.4 percentage points lower than in July.
President Karol Nawrocki ranks second at 41.3% trust (25.6% definitely) and 48% distrust (29.8% definitely).
After leading in July, he recorded a 5.5-point decline, a sign his political standing, “though still strong, is starting to wobble,” Onet wrote.
Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski is third, trusted by 39.9% of respondents, down 0.6 points. He faces 51.7% distrust, while 8.4% view him neutrally.
Among the steepest declines, Sławomir Mentzen, leader of the far-right, libertarian Confederation, is trusted by 28.9% in August, down 6.3 points from a month earlier. Jarosław Kaczyński, head of the conservative-populist Law and Justice (PiS), is trusted by 26.7%, a 5-point fall.
Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia, leader of the centrist Poland 2050, is the least trusted politician. He is deemed credible by 20.3% of Poles and again finishes last, though his distrust fell to 48.6% from 62.9% in July; 30.1% are indifferent.
