Trains will not operate on the central section of the line between Wilanowska and Słodowiec from 9:30 p.m. onwards.
Passengers are advised to use replacement buses and trams, which will run daily from early morning until 2:30 a.m.
The closures are part of a project to upgrade the metro’s traffic control systems and power supply at multiple stations.
Authorities say the work will significantly improve safety and reliability across the M1 line.
Nearly 700,000 people use Warsaw’s metro each day. Commuters will still be able to travel on the operational sections between Młociny and Słodowiec, and Kabaty and Wilanowska.
