Thousands of buildings across Poland will be illuminated in red on 19 November to highlight opposition to violence against children.
As part of an anti-violence campaign, many major buildings and public institutions across Poland will be illuminated in red on 19 November 2025, just as they were last year when landmarks such as Warsaws Palace of Culture and Science took part.

Nearly 3,000 landmarks and public buildings will switch on red lights at 5 pm as part of the “Childhood Without Violence” campaign.

The initiative coincides with the International Day for the Prevention of Violence Against Children.

Cities including Warsaw will join the effort, lighting up façades of offices and public institutions to raise awareness.

The campaign’s organiser, the Empowering Children Foundation, is encouraging people to share photos of the illuminated buildings using the hashtag #19listopada.
