The Poles, who have secured a place in the final 16 of the tournament, now have four victories in a row under their belt. They will be looking to make that five when they take on Ukraine on Thursday.

Poland, managed by Belgian coach Vital Heynen, kicked off their championship campaign with a 3-1 win against Estonia on Friday. They beat the Netherlands 3-0 in their second game.

They followed up with a 3-0 victory against the Czech Republic on Monday.

The tournament is being held in four countries: Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Slovenia. It started on Thursday and runs until September 29.

Poland are one of the world's strongest teams. They won the Volleyball Men's World Championships last year and are ranked No. 4 by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
