Lewandowski’s goals came in the 53rd, 60th, 64th and 67th minutes of the game in Belgrade, Serbia and added to his tally as the Champions League’s fifth-highest all-time scorer.

The Polish star striker now boasts a total of 63 Champions League goals, one less than France’s Karim Benzema, Poland's PAP news agency reported.

The 31-year-old Pole leads the competition’s scoring charts this season, with 10 goals.

“I have to confess ... I am addicted to scoring goals,” Lewandowski tweeted after Tuesday’s match in Belgrade.

The Polish striker in 2013 scored four goals in a Champions League match for his previous side Borussia Dortmund against Real Madrid.

Lewandowski in 2015 managed an astonishing five goals in nine minutes for Bayern against Wolfsburg in a German Bundesliga game.
