To begin with, Poland will face off against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on September 4 and then play Bosnia and Herzegovina away in their next fixture three days later.

On October 11, manager Adam Nawałka’s men are due to take on Italy on home turf in the coastal city of Gdańsk and then play Bosnia and Herzegovina at home in the southwestern city of Wrocław three days later.

On November 15, the Poles are scheduled to play an away game against Italy. Three days later they will play the Netherlands on home turf in the southern city of Chorzów.

The Nations League is the European football governing body UEFA’s newest national-team competition that is now in its second edition.

The competition is designed to enable teams to play against those that are similarly ranked and also offers an alternative path for teams to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Portugal won the first edition of the Nations League last year.
