Handball: Poland beat Brazil at world championship in Egypt

Poland’s national handball team has beaten Brazil 33:23 in its last Group B match at the men’s world championship in Egypt.

After finishing second in their group, the Poles head into the next round with two points, while Spain have three and Brazil one.

Earlier in the tournament, Poland beat Tunisia 30:28 and lost 26:27 to Spain.

In the second round, the Poles will take on Group A teams Germany, Hungary and Uruguay.

The final of the championships is to be held on January 31 in Cairo.
