Poland’s national football team beat Andorra 3-0 at home on Sunday in its second 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Captain Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for Poland with a clinical volley in the 30th minute at the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw.

He followed up with a second strike 10 minutes into the second half before substitute forward Karol Świderski set the final score at 3-0 for the home team in the 88th minute.

The match was played without spectators amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Poland are ranked 19th worldwide by football's governing body FIFA, while Andorra are No. 151 in the FIFA table.

The Polish team will now take on England in its next World Cup qualifying fixture away in London on Wednesday.
