The EEF Series competition is part of the Nations Cup Show Jumping event designed to cater for the needs of the European equestrian community.
The finals started on Thursday and are due to wind up on Sunday.
The high-profile event offers prize money of some PLN 1.9 million (over EUR 422,000) in total and features a host of European show jumping stars.
Held in the picturesque setting of the Warsaw racing track, the event has drawn not only equestrian fans, but also businesspeople, politicians and celebrities.
Just before the start of the competition, Klaudiusz Madeja spoke to Valentina Ottaviani, a representative for the EEF Series.
