OFFSIDE Ski jumping season kicks off

Polish ski jumpers are ready to compete in this season’s ski-jumping World Cup circuit which opens with an individual competition in Nizhny Tagil, Russia on Saturday, followed by another individual event a day later. The 2021/2022 ski-jumping World Cup features 35 competitions.

- International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach  awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, the country’s highest civilian award granted to foreigners, in recognition of his “unique approach to Polish sports.”
