The Polish goal machine, who plays for Bayern and also captains Poland’s national squad, found the back of the net in the 9th and 77th minutes of the game in Dortmund.

Lewandowski has scored 16 goals in the German Bundesliga this season and leads the table among the division’s top scorers.

The Poland international has also cemented his lead in a ranking of the top scorers in Europe's biggest football leagues this season.

At the end of last month, Lewandowski was announced Striker of the Year and overall runner-up in the annual Ballon d’Or vote held by France Football magazine.

In December last year, the Polish marksman won FIFA’s 2020 Best Men’s Player award, beating Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi.

At the end of 2020, the Poland captain was also named Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

The Polish marksman scored 47 goals in 44 games for his club and country in 2020.
