Brighton said in a statement that the 18-year-old Poland international "has signed a contract until June 2026" for an undisclosed fee and "is set to head out on loan during the current transfer window, joining Belgian league leaders Royale Union St-Gilloise."
Head coach Graham Potter was quoted as saying that Kozłowski "will initially head out on loan, as it is important for him to continue his development, and he is keen to continue playing regularly."
Potter added: "We will be watching with interest, as he is a very exciting young talent and a player I am really looking forward to working with in the future."
Brighton Technical Director Dan Ashworth described Kozłowski, who has been capped six times by Poland, as "a bright young talent" who "has made a lot of progress in his career at a very early stage."
The statement noted that Kozłowski in June last year became the youngest player to appear at the European championships when he came off the bench in Poland’s 1-1 Euro 2020 draw with Spain at the age of 17.
