The Paralympics will follow the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, which begin on Friday and run until February 20.
“The upcoming Paralympic Games will be totally different from the previous ones as they will be taking place amid the pandemic," said Polish Deputy Sports Minister Anna Krupka.
"Perhaps it will be more tricky to avoid getting infected than to achieve good sports results,” she added.
