Held since 1976, Bieg Piastów is organized in Jakuszyce, a part of the mountain resort of Szklarska Poręba in the Jizera Mountains in Lower Silesia. It is one of Poland's best known cross-country ski races and part of the Worldloppet Ski Federation, grouping long distance cross-country skiing events whose aim is to promote cross-country skiing through ski races.
