The 20-year-old Polish player, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, will next face Madison Keys of the United States in the women’s singles competition at the USD 9.55 million tournament in the California desert.

Świątek, who is ranked world No. 4 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), last month won the Qatar Open tennis tournament in Doha to claim her second WTA 1000 title and her fourth career singles title.
