The win means the 20-year-old Pole, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, extended her winning streak to ten consecutive matches.

The Polish player will now face Greek sixth seed Maria Sakkari in the final of the women’s singles at the USD 8.37 million tournament in the California desert, the Polish News Agency PAP reported.

Świątek, who is ranked world No. 4 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), last month won the Qatar Open tennis tournament in Doha to claim her second WTA 1000 title and her fourth career singles title.
