Because of the war, Ukraine's national football team will be playing its UEFA Nations League games in Poland. Ukraine manager Oleksandr Petrakov told Polish sports daily "Przegląd Sportowy" that the matches with Armenia and Ireland are to be played at the Władysław Król stadium in Łódź.

Until now it was not clear where the match with Armenia on June 11 and Ireland on June 14 would be held.

As Petrakov told "Przegląd Sportowy" he had wanted the team to play in Łódź, because the city had hosted the U-20 World Cup in 2019 - won by Ukraine (actually the final was played at a different stadium, Łódź Widzew).

The Władysław Król Municipal Stadium, which recently reopened with new seating, has a capacity of about 20,000.
