Tennis: Poland’s Hurkacz wins doubles title in Stuttgart

Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz has won the men's doubles competition at the Stuttgart Open tennis tournament in Germany, partnering with Croat Mate Pavić.

Hurkacz and Pavić saw off Germany's Tim Pütz and New Zealand's Michael Venus 7-6, 7-6 in the championship match on Sunday to claim their first title together.

The win marked the fourth ATP doubles title for the Polish player.

Hurkacz in April won the men's doubles title at the Miami Open tournament in the US state of Florida, together with American John Isner.
