Poland’s Świątek reaches San Diego Open final

Polish tennis star Iga Świątek has moved into the final of the San Diego Open tennis tournament in the United States., with a hard-fought win on Saturday over American player Jessica Pegula.

The Polish world No. 1 defeated Pegula 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in their semifinal clash.

Śwątek will now face either American Danielle Collins or Croatian Donna Vekić in the final match.
