Hosts South Korea won the event, which was held in Suwon from April 17 and 23, according to the Polish Ice Hockey Federation (PZHL).
The Polish women's national ice hockey team won four matches in the tournament, defeating Slovenia 2-0, Britain 2-1, Kazakhstan 3-2, and Italy 1-0, according to officials.
The Poles, coached by countryman Zbigniew Wróbel, lost 0-4 to South Korea, the Polish Ice Hockey Federation said.
The Polish team went into the tournament ranked 20th in the world by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
Poland also finished runners-up at last year's championships on home ice in the southern Polish city of Katowice.
