Top seed Świątek eased past her 27th-seed opponent 6-0, 6-3 in their quarterfinal showdown on Wednesday.
The Polish world No. 1 needed just 69 minutes to make her first career Madrid Open semifinal.
Świątek said afterwards: "I feel like I'm playing better and better every day," as quoted by the official website of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
"This is pretty great, because I didn't know if that was going to be possible at the beginning of the tournament,” she added. “But I was patient and I was hoping to get that feeling, and today was for sure a good day."
The 21-year-old Pole will next face 12th-seeded Russian Veronika Kudermetova for a place in the final of the clay-court tournament in the Spanish capital.
The semifinal match takes place on Thursday.
The 2023 Madrid Open runs until May 7.
Świątek, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, has topped the WTA’s world rankings since April 4, 2022.
The Polish player missed last year's Madrid Open due to a shoulder injury.
