Women's handball: Poland end world championship campaign with 26-27 loss to Romania

Poland lost 26-27 to Romania in its farewell match at the 2023 World Women's Handball Championship, having already failed to progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.

The Polish team was defeated 22-32 by Denmark in its previous match in the main round of the tournament.

The Poles, coached by Norwegian Arne Senstad, were unable to achieve their goal of advancing to the tournament's quarterfinals.
