Paolini, meanwhile, saw off Russian 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 6-1 in the other semifinal to reach her first Grand Slam final.
Świątek, who celebrated her 23rd birthday last week, will be playing for her fourth career French Open title.
She triumphed at Roland Garros in 2020, 2022 and 2023.
The 2024 French Open runs until Sunday.
