"It’s a historic result," Zieliński said after Inter edged Barcelona 4-3 in extra time in the second leg of their semifinal in Milan on Tuesday night.
The first leg, played in Barcelona last week, ended in a 3-3 draw.
"I hope we can lift the Champions League trophy; it’s been a childhood dream," added Zieliński, who came on in the 79th minute.
Fellow Poland international Nicola Zalewski, also with Inter, remained on the bench for the entirety of Tuesday's match, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Barcelona's lineup included two Poles: goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, who delivered a solid performance despite conceding four goals, and striker Robert Lewandowski, who entered as a substitute just before extra time.
Lewandowski had a prime opportunity to equalise for Barcelona in the second half of extra time, but he failed to convert a close-range header, Polish broadcaster TVP Sport said.
The Polish marksman missed the first leg due to a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Polish referee Szymon Marciniak officiated Tuesday's high-stakes clash in Milan, receiving mixed reviews: praise from the Italian press and criticism from Spanish outlets, the PAP news agency reported.
Inter will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal in the Champions League final, scheduled for May 31 in Munich, Germany.
