The 33-year-old Pole, who is ranked world No. 32 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), defeated the 81st-ranked Greek player 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the second round on Friday.
Linette will next face either fourth-seeded American Coco Gauff or Canada's Victoria Mboko at the clay-court tournament in Rome.
Meanwhile, Poland’s world No. 2 Iga Świątek is due to play American Danielle Collins in the third round on Saturday.
Świątek won last year's Italian Open. She also triumphed in Rome in 2021 and 2022.
