The 23-year-old, preparing for the French Open Grand Slam event in Paris, is set to play in Seoul in September.

This will be her first appearance in South Korea, where she hopes to connect with local fans and deliver strong performances on the court.

Świątek, who has won multiple Grand Slam titles including four Roland Garros championships, announced on social media that she was excited to take part in the WTA 500 event in Seoul.

Since her victory at Roland Garros last year, Świątek has not won another tournament and is currently focusing on the upcoming French Open starting on Sunday.

The Korea Open is scheduled to begin on September 15, marking a new chapter in Świątek’s international tennis journey.
