Fifth seed Świątek, a five-time Grand Slam champion aiming for her fifth Roland Garros title, overcame recent form struggles to remain unbeaten against Raducanu, extending her record to 6–0.
This was their second meeting this year, following Świątek’s win at the Australian Open.
Świątek won the French Open in 2020 and consecutively from 2022 to 2024 but has not yet claimed a WTA title this season.
She will face either Czech Sara Bejlek or Romanian Jaqueline Cristian in the next round.
