Their match is scheduled for 11 a.m. CEST in Paris.

The 27-year-old Pole, seeded 25th, defeated Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 in the opening round.

Vondrousova, currently ranked 96th after a series of injuries, beat Russia’s Oksana Selekhmeteva in straight sets.

Fręch has never beaten Vondrousova in three previous attempts and has never advanced beyond the second round at Roland Garros, having reached this stage in 2018 and 2023.

Top-seeded compatriot Iga Świątek will return to action on Friday, May 30, when she plays Romania’s Jaqueline Cristian (60th WTA) in the third round.
