The Polish world No. 5, who is the defending champion in the French capital, ousted the 13th-seeded Ukrainian 6-1, 7-5 in the quarterfinals of the women’s singles on Tuesday.

Świątek, who triumphed at Roland Garros in 2020, 2022, 2023 and last year, will face Belarusian world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka for a place in the championship match.
The 2025 French Open, the second Grand Slam tournament of the year, runs until Sunday.
