The incident took place on Sunday evening at around 8:30 p.m., when the daredevil climbed without any safety equipment to the top of the Presidential Hotel (formerly the Marriott) in central Warsaw, drawing the attention of passersby and sparking a buzz online.

The climber was identified as a Frenchman, Titouan Leduc, an experienced urban climber who previously scaled a 115-metre building in Paris using the same method.

In Poland's capital, it took him just over half an hour, approximately 35 minutes, to reach the rooftop of the roughly 140-metre tall building.

Police stopped him at the top, but before they did, he waved to the crowd gathered below.
Videos of the daring climb quickly went viral, shared by those fortunate enough to witness the stunt firsthand.
