The match is scheduled to start after 4pm Polish time, most likely around 5pm, following the first semi-final at 2:30pm between world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and American Amanda Anisimova.

Bencic has never played in a Grand Slam final, with her best result a semi-final at the 2019 US Open and an Olympic gold medal from Tokyo.

Świątek, 24, already holds five Grand Slam titles - four French Open victories and one US Open win.

The two have faced each other four times, with Świątek winning three of those matches, including last year’s thrilling Wimbledon fourth-round clash, which she took 6–7(4), 7–6(2), 6–3.

This is Świątek’s third Grand Slam semi-final in 2025. She fell just short of the final in both Melbourne and Paris, missing out by a single point in Australia.
