The Polish world No. 4 will meet American Amanda Anisimova in the championship match after Anisimova upset Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 earlier in the day.

The Wimbledon women's singles final is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 5 p.m.

Świątek vs. Bencic: 6-2, 6-0

Świątek confidently held her serve in the opening game against Bencic and then broke her opponent's serve in the second game to take a 2-0 lead.

The Pole maintained control throughout the first set, winning 6-2.

The second set saw Świątek dominate from the start, breaking Bencic early and ultimately winning 6-0, without conceding a single game, showcasing her superior return game and minimizing errors.

Victory to the beat of AC/DC

The former Polish world No. 1 revealed after her victory that classic rock helped inspire her on the road to the Wimbledon final.

"I like to keep my routines, so there's some AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones,” she said when asked what music she listened to before her clash with Bencic.
