Polish rowers impress at 2025 World Rowing U23 Championships in Poznań

Poland’s young athletes claimed three medals at the 2025 World Rowing Under 23 Championships, which concluded in late July in Poznań, western Poland.

Sunday, 27 July proved especially successful for the national team. Mikołaj Kulka, Igor Czekanowicz, Michał Rańda and Daniel Gałęza took silver in the men’s quadruple sculls.

Bronze medals went to Kinga Kusinowska, Barbara Stępień, Rozalia Linowska and Gabriela Stefaniak in the women’s equivalent, and to Kacper Mickiewicz and Martin Weidchhaus in the lightweight double sculls.

In total, Polish crews reached the podium four times. On Saturday, Anna Khlibenko and Julia Rogiewicz secured silver in the women’s double sculls on Lake Malta.
