The Polish world No. 3 overpowered the eighth-ranked Paolini 7-5, 6-4 in the final to pick up her second title of the year.

The Cincinnati Open, also known as the Western & Southern Open, is a key warm-up for the US Open, which begins on Sunday in New York.

Świątek will be bidding for her seventh Grand Slam title in New York.

Last month, the Polish player, a former world No. 1, defeated American Amanda Anisimova 6–0, 6–0 to claim her maiden Wimbledon title and her sixth Grand Slam crown.

In addition to the Wimbledon trophy, the 24-year-old holds four Grand Slam singles titles from the French Open and one from the 2022 US Open.
