US Open 2025 kicks off: When to watch Polish players?

Polish tennis players will take to the courts in New York on Monday, but results from all matches involving them on 25 August won’t be known until late in the evening in Poland.

In the first round of the US Open, Magdalena Fręch and Kamil Majchrzak will compete.

Fręch, seeded 28th, faces Australia’s Talia Gibson, with their match scheduled for around midnight Polish time.

Majchrzak will play with Bolivia’s Hugo Dellien no earlier than around 11 p.m. Polish time.

World No. 2 Iga Świątek will face Colombia’s Emiliana Arango on Tuesday, 26 August.

Polish representation in the tournament was reduced on Sunday when Magda Linette was eliminated in an earlier round.
