The Poles, who opened their campaign with a straight-sets win over Romania, have two victories and are assured of reaching the round of 16.
They will face the Netherlands on Wednesday in their final Group B match, with first place in the pool at stake.
Poland, winners of this year’s Nations League and the current world No. 1, arrived in the Philippines as one of the tournament favorites.
The Olympic silver medalists are seeking to reclaim the world title they lost in 2022, when Italy beat them in the final.
Poland previously won world titles in 1974, 2014 and 2018.
The Polish team's round-of-16 match is scheduled for Saturday, with quarterfinal play on September 24.
