They took the match with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 25-14.
Nikola Grbic’s team, who topped Group B with a perfect record, made one change to the starting lineup, with Kamil Semeniuk replacing Tomasz Fornal.
Semeniuk led the Poles with 18 points, including three blocks.
Poland will face Turkey in Wednesday’s quarter-final after the Turks overcame the Netherlands 3-1 earlier in the day.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Sept. 27, with the medal matches to be held the following day.
Poland arrived in the Philippines as one of the main favourites.
The Olympic silver medallists, this year’s Nations League winners and world No. 1 are aiming to reclaim the title they lost three years ago in Katowice, southern Poland, where they were beaten in the final by Italy.
They previously lifted the trophy in 2014, 2018 and 1974.
