Women's handball: Poland beat China in world championship opener

Poland controlled the game from start to finish and won deservedly, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.

The Polish team, coached by Norwegian Arne Senstad, will next face Tunisia on Sunday, followed by a game against defending champions France on Tuesday.

Thirty-two teams are vying for supremacy in the 2025 World Women’s Handball Championship.

The tournament, co-hosted by the Netherlands and Germany, runs until December 14.
