Socca is a fast-paced variant of football played six-a-side on a smaller pitch, blending elements of futsal and street football.
The triumph marks a historic milestone for the Polish national team.
A remarkable comeback in the final
The final pitted two unbeaten sides against each other.
Mexico had topped their group with maximum points and a +10 goal difference, before eliminating Greece, Bulgaria, and Kazakhstan in the knockout stages.
This victory finally secures Poland’s place among the socca world champions. In previous tournaments, Poland had twice reached the final - losing 0-1 to Germany in 2018 and 2-3 to Russia in 2019 - before taking bronze in 2022.
