The Polish duo edged Coco Gauff and Christian Harrison 7–6 (7–5), 7–6 (7–3), delivering a decisive win. In both sets, Kawa and Zieliński saved set points, showing composure at crucial moments.

"It’s incredible and difficult to describe," Zieliński said after the match. "Playing for your country and your team is something special. It’s much more than winning individual tournaments. Being able to help the team reach the final is an amazing feeling."

Earlier in the tie, Hubert Hurkacz gave Poland the lead with a 7–6 (7–1), 7–6 (7–2) victory over Taylor Fritz.

The 28-year-old Pole has impressed since returning from a lengthy injury layoff and continued his fine form in Australia.

"I’m very happy with my performance, especially after a tough match yesterday with Alex de Minaur," Hurkacz said. "I’m really looking forward to the final."

The United States levelled the tie after world No. 2 Iga Świątek was beaten by Gauff 6–4, 6–2. It marked Gauff’s fifth win over Świątek in 16 meetings, with the American now claiming victory in their last four encounters.

"Coco has improved in many areas," Świątek said. "It’s very noticeable. Our matches used to be more one-sided, but she’s matured and gained experience. She’s a top player."

Poland will face Switzerland in Sunday’s final, marking their third appearance in a United Cup title match.
