The Polish star, ranked No. 2 in the world by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), beat the Australian qualifier 6-0, 6-3 in their fourth-round match in Melbourne, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The 24-year-old Pole, a former world No. 1, will next face Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina for a place in the last four.
Świątek reached the semifinals of the women’s singles at last year's Australian Open, where she lost 7-5, 1-6, 6-7 to American Madison Keys.
The 2026 Australian Open runs until February 1.
