The championships were for the first time held under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).
A total of 65 athletes from 17 countries competed.
Witych topped the women’s ski freeride event on the Basser Negre face on Tuesday, impressing judges with her control and tactical reading of the terrain under worsening weather conditions.
"After a mighty performance under deteriorating weather conditions, Witych maintained composure and read the terrain tactfully, for which she was rewarded with a score of 80.33 and the ultimate title," the organisers said.
Freeriding involves skiing on ungroomed slopes and natural terrain, requiring advanced technique as well as judgment and composure.
"Representing my country as the only Polish rider in this competition means everything to me," Witych said.
"Carrying the flag and finishing in first place was incredibly special," she added.
